Assoc. Prof. Dr. S. Alp Limoncuoğlu. After graduating from 9 Eylül University Faculty of Law in 1996, he completed his master's degree at the Zicklin School of Business, Baruch College, CUNY (The City University of New York) in 1999 and successfully defended his doctoral thesis at 9 Eylül University in 2006 and was awarded the title of doctor. He served as a military judge in the Turkish Armed Forces for one year. Dr. Limoncuoğlu has more than 20 years of expertise and experience in law, both as an academic and as a lawyer. In addition to teaching and researching at the university, Dr. Limoncuoğlu provides legal consultancy to many individuals and organizations (including institutions, municipalities, chambers of commerce and industry, organized industrial zones, etc.). Founded in 1969, he is a partner of Limoncuoğlu Law Office, one of the leading law offices in Izmir, with 50 years of legal experience. He also played an important role as a legal advisor in establishing and subsequently operating Ataer Enerji A.Ş., one of the pioneers of private electricity generation companies in Izmir and the Aegean Region.

Dr. S. Alp Limoncuoğlu, former director of Izmir University of Economics Institute of Social Sciences, who has authored many academic studies, including books and articles, international and national papers, was awarded the title of associate professor by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) in 2018. Assoc. Prof. Dr. S. Alp Limoncuoğlu is currently serving as the Vice Dean of Izmir University of Economics Faculty of Law.
